Winter Spoons 2025 - Round 17

Twenty-two players turned up for today’s Spoons in perfect winter bowling conditions.

The winners on Rink 4, Maureen G & Pascal, finished with an impressive 25 points, despite only scoring 5 points in their first game. They were up against two high-scoring teams on 14 and 15 points after the opening game, reminding us all that it’s never over until it’s over!

Rink 3 - John N, Jessie, Timmy

A special moment today as Dympna returned to proper play, after a few short tester games in recent weeks. She was warmly welcomed back and was on hand to present the spoons to our worthy winners!

With just one round to go, the men’s title is still up for grabs, while we already have a clear winner of the ladies’ group.

Final Round: Saturday, 13th December

It could be a nail-biting finish for the men’s competition!
